The Rock Charmer (40 mins)
Round pillars of the old quarry, an old man wanders scratching at the mysteries of the rocks… calling… what have they seen, what are they, what makes them, what stories can be told by these weather blown sentinels? Unwrap geological time, explore the layers of the rock.
Developed with support from Inside Out Dorset.

What happens when inkblots, photocopies, cardboard, angle-poise lamps, the occasional table, video technology, a laptop and a banana box meet? Part puppet show, cinema show and slide show, The Paper Cinema is a fascinating, haunting and very clever mix of live music and live animation. Don’t miss this chance to see The Paper Cinema with your own eyes …

Described in the Guardian as 'fragile and beautiful****' Lyn Gardner, and by Benjamin Davis in Time Out as 'Spellbinding****'

Ausform Events

are evenings of performance, film, music and games created and curated under a theme. Ausform select a theme as a filter to collate an exciting and entertaining programme that presents talented artists work that offer different angles upon one topic.

Previous evenings have been Valentines (In which a Panda was serenaded, a D.H Lawrence sexy text line was active and the concept of 'street wooing' was fully explained) and Charles Bukowski (video clips where shown of the chain-smoking, alcohol fueled poet and author, an open-mic was set up for audience's to read there favourite poems and a bets where placed on a riveting horse race).

Ausform events are fun-filled evenings in which the Ausform team put their creative hats on and also treat it as a great opportunity to explore a theme and for artists to small new pieces especially for the night. The events aregenerally interactive with such treats as text lines, gambling games and photo-booths in which the performance moves beyond the stage. All accompanied by a bar and a DJ we often have a good party!

Keep your eyes on this page as we are just planning the next series of events.

You can buy tickets for our events right here on this page.

In the spirit of Serge's 1960's swinging hey-day, the cube will transform into a low-lit cocktail bar, with lemon incest cocktails!
